Journaling a benfit

 I have found that the great comfort and a sense of relief in keeping a journal. It is more then just keeping a blog.  For, me it is in keeping a journal by putting a pen to paper.  Being able to have a way to put thoughts down.  By keeping them in has caused more harm then good.  I know that this is true for me.  I hope that the following article in the Hoffington Post helpful.

Ones Story

There has to be a way knock down the walls that keep people apart.  What will this take?  Listening to someones story and loving them for who they are.  Taking your own prejudices to being able to see past that.  For, these are some of the most harmful to a group people.  Today, so many who identify themselves as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered experience this by those who profess to Christians.  Are we not called by Jesus to love are neighbors. In Mark 12:28 to 34 says;
One of the scribes approached.  When he heard them debating and saw that Jesus answered them well, he asked Him, "Which command is the most important of all?"
"This is the most important," Jesus answered:
Listen, Israel!  The Lord your God, is One.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength.
"The second is: Love your neighbor as yourself.  There is no other command greater then these."
Then the scribe said to Him, "You are right, Teacher!  You have correctly said that He is One, and there is no one else except Him.  And to love Him with all your heart, with all your heart, with all our understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, is far more important then all the burnt offerings and sacrifices."
When Jesus saw that he answered intelligently, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And no one dared to question Him any longer.
In the following video Jennifer Knapp tells her story.  She was at one time a Christian singer and when she came out as a lesbian.  She tells of her story.

Equal rights in all site for all people

It is unfair that those who are in loving committed relationships are defined benefits.  Just because they are of the same sex.  Where has the love another person gone? Despite what someone believes to be wrong. This could be your son, daughter, niece, nephew, grandchild, aunt or uncle.  Even a parent.

Hate for those who are differnt then you

What is it to love those who don't follow our set of what is right or wrong?  Holding up their live as sinful.  Seeing only through the lenses of what faith says is right and wrong.  That 'they' are going to hell.  When was the authority of be judge become ours and not God's?  Jesus would call out the religious leaders out on this very thing.  Not being love to those who are not following the law as they do.  Anyone who is a sinner is not welcome at their tables, homes, or at the temple.  For, they were seen as dirty.  The very same people that Jesus spent time with everyday with.  Sharing life with them.  Showing what love really is.  In Matthew 5:43 to 48 this is what Jesus says;
"You have heard it said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'  But I tell you, love your enemies, ad pray for those who persecute you, that you be children of you Father in heaven.  He causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?  Are not even the tax collectors doing that?  And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more then others?  Do not even the pagans do that?  Be perfect therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect?"
Hate leads to darkness and to death.  And to not seeing a person as a person.  Who is loved by the Father.  A child of him and created in his image.  He loves each of us.  Despite ourselves.  What we believe is right or wrong.
